The arrival of spring brought with it a flurry of media interest for the region. In early October Qantas Magazine came to Kyneton and surrounds for the weekend to cover the Macedon Ranges wine scene for a 4-page spread in their January edition; Ballarat Lifestyle Magazine visited Trentham overnight for an upcoming feature story and the Editor of Catriona Rowntree’s travel website, “Journeys to Come” came to Daylesford.
Freelance journalist Winsor Dobbin, who visited the region in September, has recently had his first article published by Ciao Magazine. He also has pending stories with several other publications including Selector Magazine, James Halliday Magazine and Winestate.
Other published articles in October include “Australia’s Best Cellar Doors 2017” (Gourmet Traveller Wine), “Wellness – Hit Fresh” (Qantas Magazine) and “Bruce & his chickens – Milking Yard Farm” (Broadsheet).
Last week we had InStyle Australia magazine visit Daylesford & Hepburn Springs for a 4-page article to be included in their January / February edition. November has seen the following articles published: “The Lure of The Old Rectory” (Lifestyle Magazine), “Budburst Festival” (Jetstar Magazine), Comfortable Food in a Comfortable Setting” (Gourmet On The
Road), “A Warm Reception” (Country Living) and “Macedon Ranges Wine & Food Festival to Attract Thousands” (Herald Sun).
Currently, we're in communication with Postcards, Frankie Magazine, Taste, Elle Magazine and Sydney Morning Herald Travel. This will all hopefully translate into further visits and media outcomes for our region over the coming months.
All articles about our region are uploaded to the PR Mentions section of our website on a regular basis. If you should happen to come across any media relating to the region that we have missed, we would greatly appreciate it if you could please forward it to
us by email to email@example.com. We require it in either in a PDF document or URL link format so that we can add it to our media library.
