Daylesford Macedon Tourism Ltd. is seeking to appoint experienced Board Directors whose skills align with the strategic direction of the organisation and complement the current skill mix of the Board.

This is a remunerated role (in line with Victorian Government Appointment and Remuneration Guidelines).

DMR Board Members

Noel Harvey OAM

Noel is the independent Chair of DMR Tourism.  He has extensive experience in local and state government, regional tourism, and regional and rural community development.  Noel  has had a long association with this tourism region, having  Chaired the Regional Cooperative Marketing Campaign Committee, the forerunner to the current organisation, from 1996-2004, and was involved in the establishment of the DMR Regional Tourism Board, temporarily assuming the role of inaugural Chairman in 2008.  Noel is a former Mayor and Councillor of Macedon Ranges Shire Council and Chief Commissioner of the Shire of Hepburn.  He has 15 years business experience in tourism specialising in the bus and coach industry, outback touring and wholesale and retail travel.

Kim Whitehouse has over 15 years’ experience in the hospitality, leisure and spa industries working both nationally and internationally.   After working extensively in Far North Queensland, the Blue Mountains in NSW and then South East Asia, Kim returned to Australia and joined Belgravia Leisure to reopen the historic Hepburn Bathhouse & Spa and is currently responsible for the marketing of Belgravia’s managed Alpine tourism destinations. Kim is passionately committed to the continued growth and development of regional tourism, and bring considerable knowledge, experience and passion to her role on the Board.

Long term Daylesford resident Frank Page has been involved in regional tourism for the past ten years. He has combined his local knowledge and love of the region with a background in retail strategic marketing to work within the tourism sector. From his chairmanship of the Hepburn Shire Tourism Advisory Committee to leading the development of a Strategic Tourism Plan for Daylesford and district, Destination Daylesford he then joined the Daylesford & Macedon Ranges Marketing Campaign Committee. Frank was also involved in the Implementation Committee for the establishment of the Daylesford and Macedon Ranges Regional Tourism Board, of which he continues to be a member.
