Despite yesterday’s somewhat surprising announcement regarding regional Vic coming out of lockdown, we have decided to postpone the conference. That was the vibe we got from you, and even with eased restrictions in the region, it didn’t feel right. We will, however, be running a one-hour online session on the same day: Monday next week (August 16th) at 11.00 am, and also schedule further online sessions, working with presenters scheduled for the conference, over the next few weeks.
In addition to the online sessions we will have in the next few weeks, we will also have an industry catch up once there are zero cases in Victoria and the time is right. These are much easier to organise (and postpone) and I get the feeling people want to see each other when, as I said, the time is right.
So, for Monday’s session, you must register here and then you’ll be sent a calendar invite and Teams link. At least I hope you will…this is the first time I have tried scheduling a registration-based teams meeting. Please use Chrome browser…it didn’t work for me in Firefox for some reason.
So, what will it be about? Here’s the program. It’s short and snappy but will be well worth an hour of your valuable time.
16 August @ 11am
Introduction – Steve Wroe, DMT
Visitor Economy Come Back Tour – Felicia Mariani, VTIC
Industry Development Update – Paul Matthews, VTIC
Mental Health check-in – Danielle Hose, EACH
The power of collaboration…Collab Kitchen – Sam Mackley, Beppe Kitchen & Bar
We’d love to see you there. And sorry about the conference.
Look after yourselves…these crazy times are still pretty darn crazy.
Again, please register here if you want to join.
