Date

Hi all,

How good is this weather?! Just a very quick update from me about our campaign, but also business as usual promotions.

Important: The cut-off date for sales for the Come Back To Life campaign is Wednesday, 21st August. We cannot extend inclusion in the spring campaign beyond this date as we need to build the website landing page with your offers and deals for the campaign launch on 1st September. Please email Annissa on to secure your place.

The Campaign

The Come Back to Life campaign is focused on bringing visitors to our region. Things have slowed, for all sorts of reasons, so we must act now and drive direct response through a brand-based, digital campaign that leans into the spontaneous bookings patterns we’re all seeing. Visitation has slipped so we’re embarking on by far the biggest campaign our region has seen in years. All sectors are supported from spa and wellness, to hospitality, accommodation, wineries, cideries, breweries and distilleries, art galleries and retail.

The creative has been shot and we’re in the final stages of editing. Support from you, our partners, has been amazing, but for this to work, we need a strong digital media spend and we need a few more partners to join the 60-odd who have already bought in, to be able to get the reach we need to truly shift the needle and turn the slowing visitation into growth. We’re a small region, but we’re strong, united, and collaborative so join us. Check out the page on our industry site for more information about the campaign.

The Business as Usual

We’ve received a few questions about how we are supporting the campaign – and you as operators – outside of the Come Back to Life campaign. Here’s what we are doing:

DMT will support the campaign message through our organic and paid social activities, alongside our EDM newsletters to our consumer database. Your businesses will continue to be featured in inspirational content created by us, promoting the region’s offerings and activities. As always, we’ll be working hard for the region from a PR perspective and we are here to help and support you. So, rest assured, the work you know and expect from our team will continue alongside the Come Back To Life campaign. Next year we’re rolling out the new print product…check out the media kit here.

So…bring it on. Let’s buck the trend, get people off their couches…and into OUR region.
