DMT runs many campaigns, of various sizes and buy in is usually very affordable (from $200 or so, upwards). Partners are able to participate in these campaigns and they are very popular. Their popularity is due to the fact that for a small buy-in, you can piggyback off a big regional campaign, getting amazing reach and exposure.
With just under 50,000 fans (at the time of writing) and double digital engagement rates, we have a large and high engaged Facebook following. Our posts champion operators, showcase events and highlight the natural beauty of the region – check out our account: daylesfordmacedonranges
Insta is, of course, image-based so we utilise our image library, local photographers and regram top visitor images. Our account has doubled in 12 months and sits at 13,000…and growing fast. Engagement often gets as high as 25%+ which is fantastic. Check out our account: daylesfordmacedonranges
Designed to inspire and inform, traffic is growing so quickly we’re reluctant to put a figure on weekly traffic here, other than to say that it’s huge. We add several pieces of content every week, both editorial, itineraries, recipes, competitions and events. daylesfordmacedonlife.com.au
Well over 50,000 strong, our email list is one of our best marketing assets. We showcase itineraries, events, operators, competitions and more, with emails going out about once a month (plus special seasonal email). They offer a great opportunity for local businesses that want to target an engaged audience.
Tens of thousands of copies of our high quality regional Visitor Guide are found all over Victoria – and beyond. It’s over 120 pages, features the highlights of the region and our amazing operators. It can be found at Visitor Information Centres across the state and many retail and hospitality venues around the region. It is our most pouplar publication, with good reason. Every quarter, we produce a seasonal magazine called Daylesford Macedon Life. We insert it into The Saturday Age, work with Mr Moto to drop it and hundreds of cafes in Melbourne and Geelong, distribute it to regional cities like Bendigo and Ballarat and also drop it to many businesses in the region. The magazine is hugely popular and has an audited readership of over 500,000. All editions can be viewed online on ISSUU.
We currently produce one map, called A Tasty Little Touring Map. This map was created to support and hero our local producers and produce. It showcases the best wineries, restaurants, cafes, pubs, bakeries and more…as well as the region’s many farmers’ markets and mineral springs.
