How do I co-host an event on Facebook? How can I have my event listed on the website and social media?

Our website events are pulled in from the events that we co-host on Facebook.

It’s easy to be included. If you have your workshop, class, special dining experience, yoga class etc. on Facebook Events, add our ‘Daylesford Macedon Ranges’ Facebook page as a co-host.

To do this, create your Facebook event and in the co-host section, type ‘Daylesford Macedon Ranges’. If you have an event already on Facebook, go in and edit it now.

I’ve received communication via social media saying I won a competition but it looks like spam.

Unfortunately the success of our seasonal competitions/giveaways promoted via social media have attracted scammers to create fake look-a-like accounts to mimic our own. We politely ask that you report any fake accounts and don’t click any links or provide any personal information including credit card details. Our competition terms and conditions are published on our website with entrant requirements and information on winner announcement/contact.

How to tag/mention DMT on socials?

Can I just have a business listing on your website?

Available as an individual purchase to those businesses who do not wish to purchase a DMT partnership, or if you require an additional listing for an extension of your business. A web listing also lets you create a profile for a recurring event, workshop, or accommodation. Must be an accommodation, place, event, workshop/school, or area of interest that offers a distinct visitor experience for the leisure tourist.
