How do I co-host an event on Facebook? How can I have my event listed on the daylesfordmacedonlife.com.au website and social media?

Our website events are pulled in from the events that we co-host on Facebook.

It’s easy to be included. If you have your workshop, class, special dining experience, yoga class etc. on Facebook Events, add our ‘Daylesford Macedon Ranges’ Facebook page as a co-host.

To do this, create your Facebook event and in the co-host section, type ‘Daylesford Macedon Ranges’. If you have an event already on Facebook, go in and edit it now.

Your event will then feature both here – facebook.com/pg/DaylesfordMacedonRanges/events/
And here – daylesfordmacedonlife.com.au/events/

I’ve received communication via social media saying I won a competition but it looks like spam.

Unfortunately the success of our seasonal competitions/giveaways promoted via social media have attracted scammers to create fake look-a-like accounts to mimic our own. We politely ask that you report any fake accounts and don’t click any links or provide any personal information including credit card details. Our competition terms and conditions are published on our website with entrant requirements and information on winner announcement/contact.

How to tag/mention DMT on socials?

Simply use the #daylesfordmacedonlife or #daylesfordmacedonranges hashtags and include our account handle @daylesfordmacedonranges when captioning posts, or tag @daylesfordmacedonranges in feed post images and when crafting story posts.

Tagging us in your story posts will see your post appear in our Instagram direct messages (DM’s) which allows the ‘share to your story’ option making it easy and most efficient for us to quickly share your story to our story posts.
