Regional Tourism Investment Fund

The State Government has recently launched the Regional Tourism Investment Fund. This $62m fund provides grants of up to $5 million supporting both small and large-scale tourism projects as well as accommodation enhancement projects. The fund is guided by the priority pillars outlined in the Experience Victoria 2033 strategic plan: First Peoples, Wellness, Arts & Culture, Food & Drink, and Nature. There is a co-contribution amount required, which varies depending on the entity that applies.

Two online information sessions will be held to support potential applicants on:
• Tuesday 4 June, 10 am – 11 am
• Thursday 13 June, 2 pm – 3 pm

You can RSVP to the sessions via the Business Victoria website: Business Vic Website

Applications close on 19 July at 2pm and more information is available at Regional Tourism Investment Fund 2024.

Regional Events Fund

We are delighted that the support for the Regional Events Fund has continued, with the Victorian Government committing $38m to support events in regional Victoria. Events are critical to driving visitation, overnight stays, and spend…and of course, provide visitors and locals with fun and interesting things to do.

Details are yet to be released, but please keep an eye on the regional events page of the Visit Vic website to stay up-to-date. We expect that details on funding rounds will be announced in the next few days.
