Hi all,
Just a quick one from me. It’s a bit over a week until Tourism Awards nominations close. Read below on why you should consider it and some helpful tips on the process.
We’re also working with Tourism Australia on an Ecotourism survey. I’d be very grateful if you could complete the survey as it will help inform us of the key issues around things like environmental damage and ‘over tourism’.

They’re back. VTIC has made it easier to apply and have plenty of support available.
So, why do it? You get an accurate assessment of your business, it’s valuable process to go through, enabling you to learn and improve. It has lots of marketing benefits beyond the logo (should you win or place). Also it can be a good exercise to build pride amongst your staff in what you do.

Tourism Australia and DMT are conducting a research project on the impact of tourism on the local environment, community, and culture. The feedback will help us to tailor communications for travellers in specific regions to educate and encourage responsible and respectful travel.
Now more than ever, it is critical to have a proactive approach for how the tourism sector, its partners, and stakeholders face the future positively and sustainably. To assist us, please complete this survey, which will take less than 10 minutes.
