Hi all,

A quick one from me.

  • Firstly, we are changing the date of the Industry Briefing on account of the Public Holiday announced after the passing of Queen Elizabeth.
  • We are also asking for those who were involved in Borealis in any way (including having guests attend) to fill in a very short survey.
  • We have a great new video (on the back of our Industry Spotlight vid’s) in which a few local legends say nice things about DMT.
  • And there’s a business event in Daylesford that you might be interested in
  • Finally, well done to the team Macedon Ranges Shire Council and Tourism Macedon Ranges (particularly Andrew Towner). Hot off the press this morning is the news that Mt Macedon won Bronze in the Tiny Tourism Town category at Australia’s Top Tourism Town Awards in Canberra. Bravo!

Revised Industry Briefing date – Tuesday 4 October
As you are no doubt aware, Thursday, September 22nd has been marked as a Public Holiday after the Queen’s passing. Friday is also a Public Holiday for the Grand Final. Given this, we have decided to push back the Industry Briefing by a couple of weeks. Sorry if this mucks you around, but we are mindful of the impact of a sudden 4-day weekend on businesses. If you’ve already booked, you’ll receive an updated ticket. If you have not booked yet, book your place HERE.

DMT video – check it out!
As you know, we have been doing a lot of filming with various local tourism stars. We asked them how they work with DMT. We love it. Check it out! Borealis Survey – help us get it back next year
We are assessing the impact of the Borealis event on Lake Daylesford in a few ways. One of these is this SURVEY. The survey is designed for businesses who worked with Borealis, or whose customers/guests attended Borealis. It’ll take a couple of minutes to fill in, but your time would be awesome. We want it back next year of course!
