Marketing Update April 2022

Date

As we charge in to April, with the Easter school holidays on the horizon, the pace is certainly not slowing down at Daylesford Macedon Tourism. The deadline for our winter magazine is fast approaching, we have limited spots left in our Tasty Little Touring Map and our winter ‘grow your database’ giveaway is shaping up to be a good one. Our autumn competition has just wrapped up, which will see over 13,000 unique emails shared with participating businesses.

We continue to see strong growth across our social channel, especially Instagram and our subscriber database continues to grow, now sitting at 72,000.

We have some fantastic marketing opportunities coming up over the next few months – including the opportunity to be featured in our winter mag – either via editorial or advertising opportunities, read below to find out how!

DAYLESFORD MACEDON LIFE MAGAZINE –
limited winter advertising space available

Don’t miss the opportunity for your business to be seen in this large format 40-page publication. As usual, 145,000 copies of the magazine will be printed. However, we are switching up the distribution plan, with the intention of getting the magazine in front of more of our target audience. Instead of The Saturday Age, the mag will be inserted in The Sunday Age on 29 May (approx. 90,000 copies). The remaining mags will be shared via Mr Moto to 550 cafes in Melbourne, as well as shared via a letter box drop to targeted Melbourne suburbs, based on postcode analysis. We will of course share the mag widely throughout our region and nearby regional cities as well.
