DML Magazine – advertising and editorial opportunities

Dear All,

Planning is already well underway for the autumn / winter edition of Daylesford Macedon Life magazine. The mag will be distributed via both the Australian Financial Review (nationally) and The Sunday Age (within Victoria) over the weekend 23 & 24 March.

In addition to this, we will be handing out copies of the mag at our Fed Square pop-up during the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival. And as usual, in Melbourne and Geelong cafes and venues, as well as widely throughout the region.

Want to be included? Keep reading below to discover the many editorial and advertising opportunities that exist.

The DMT team

The editorial content for the autumn / winter edition of DML mag is well underway. Confirmed stories include the following:

  • Accommodation feature – cosy cottages
  • Pubs with a history – discovering the interesting stories about our historic pubs
  • Bakeries – the best bakeries in our region (and what they do best)
  • Hiking for autumn colour – which trails are full of autumn colour
  • What’s new in the region – new openings / new offerings / new events
  • Retail – where to shop local and take a little piece of our region home with you
  • Whisky – which local distillers are making whisky
  • Winter events and festivals

If you fit any of the above categories, or want to nominate someone who does, please get in touch with our editor Madeleine.

Advertising in the mag is an excellent opportunity to be seen by a large and high-net worth audience – all at a fraction of what it would cost to advertise directly in the publications the mag is inserted in (the Australian Financial Review and The Sunday Age).

The readership of the magazine is well over 1 million.

Thank-you to all that have re-booked or booked your advertising place – we still have the following advertising available:

  • Inside Back Cover
  • Full pages x 1
  • Advertorials x 2
  • Half pages x 2
  • Third page x 7
  • Business Listings x 8
  • Must have/ Must Try x 2

Or, if you’re not sure what the best option is for your business, get in touch with Annissa via email at to discuss what works best, depending on what type of business you are.
