We’ve had a busy start to the year at DMT, with the 2022 Official Visitor Guide and the autumn edition of Daylesford Macedon Life magazine both hitting the newsstands in the past week. A big thank you to all of our partners who contributed to these publications, the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. You can order copies of the Official Visitor Guide HERE. Our magazines have been delivered, if you would like some for your business, please contact your local Visitor Information Centre to arrange pickup.  We’ve also seen strong growth across all of our social channels and our subscriber database (which now sits at over 70k). DAYLESFORD MACEDON LIFE MAGAZINE – WINTER OPPORTUNITIES

Advertising for the winter magazine is now open and we have some exciting editorial planned. We will ‘Pay it forward in Trentham’ and uncover accommodation offerings that feature fire pits. We’ll hunt down the best hot chocolates in the region, explore where to score the best woollen staples for winter wardrobes and provide a guide to pet friendly venues. We’ll introduce readers to the many hearty reds our cool climate region has to offer, profile live music venues and demonstrate the many reasons why our region is a leader when it comes to wellbeing… plus lots more!

Don’t miss the opportunity for your business to be seen in this large format 40-page publication. We print 145,000 copies of which 130,000 are inserted into The Saturday Age (of which the readership is audited by Roy Morgan at over 500,000 people).

The remaining copies are distributed throughout our region including distribution to 550 cafés in Melbourne and regional Victoria via Mr Moto.

Here is what our partners are saying about our most recent DML magazine.

‘The magazine DEFINITELY led to phone & email enquiries and bookings. Weekends are our quietest time for enquiries most weeks but we haven’t been able to respond to all emails yet! Also our Instagram following has increased. I’m sold on the magazine.’ Catherine Defina

Sensational job on our behalf, many thanks again. We’ve had a huge resounding amount of feedback from Saturday’s mag, just the surge we so desperately needed. Thank you again!” Clay Watson

WINTER GIVEAWAY

We are seeking prize partners for our ‘build your subscriber database winter competition’. Our prize partners are given access to all of the entrants’ email addresses, helping businesses to build their own engaged database. We handed over 9,000 emails to our partners in our summer competition.

Email is a key method of business communication that is fast, cheap, and easy. Using email can greatly benefit businesses as it provides efficient and effective ways to communicate.

The cost to be involved is $800 ex GST, in addition to offering a prize offering.

PR OPPORTUNITIES

We are always on the hunt for details on new and interesting things our partners have happening. We speak directly with travel editors and writers from around Australia on a regular basis – feeding them ideas on what’s happening in our region. We also share this content with the PR teams Visit Victoria and Tourism Australia. If you have anything happening that’s new or noteworthy, make sure you share the details with Madeleine, our PR & Content Manager.

EDM OPPORTUNITIES

Reach an engaged tourism subscriber database of 70k who you can show off your accommodation, event, food and drink offer, online service or product. We send our EDM at the end of each month. The cost to be involved is $200 ex GST.
